Management Dashboard — Scheduling & Dispatch
ProSurvey Apps Limited (company no. 17118570) · Help centre
The Scheduling area helps you allocate surveys and repair visits to the right person at the right time, and confirm they were on-site. Tiered — Basics for allocating work, Deep dive for the suggestions and presence, Technical for how it's computed.
Basics — allocating work
- Open Scheduling from the sidebar.
- See upcoming and unassigned work in a calendar/lane view.
- Assign a job to a surveyor or a contractor from the dispatch pool.
- The assignee sees it in their mobile app inbox with the due date.
Deep dive — smart suggestions & presence
- Assignment suggestions. When allocating, the dashboard can suggest who to send based on practical factors such as travel distance to the property, so you're not sending someone across the region unnecessarily.
- On-site presence. When a surveyor arrives, a GPS check-in records that they were at the property; for damp-and-mould cases this also stamps when works began, feeding the Awaab timeline.
- Urgency at a glance. Emergency and overdue items are highlighted so the most time-critical work surfaces first.
Technical — how it works
- Suggestions use the property's location and the team's coverage to rank candidates; the final choice is always yours.
- Presence is captured as a GPS event tied to the work order and, where relevant, the survey — part of the contemporaneous record.
- GPS enforcement (surveyor app): where your organisation enables it, a survey can only be started and edited within a set radius of the property; leaving the radius locks editing. This is configured in Settings.
- Permissions: who can assign, reassign, or dispatch is governed by the role/permissions model — see Access control.
Rollout note: some GPS-enforcement and scheduling-policy options are configured per organisation and are rolling out — check your dashboard settings for current availability.
