Your plan and what it includes
Your organisation sits on one of four plans, each a strict superset of the one before it. This article states what each includes as fact — see Billing for changing yours.
What it is
Solo carries one surveyor seat, the full evidence engine, the portal and audit log, and evidence bundles, alongside a small office-user and viewer bundle. Team adds unlimited surveyor seats, works orders and contractor grants, and a larger office-user bundle. Platform adds the REST API, webhooks, EDI exports, Power Automate connectivity, SFTP servers, and self-serve BigQuery warehouse access, plus a still-larger office-user bundle. Enterprise adds Entra ID single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and priority support, with unlimited office users. Viewers are always free and unlimited outside Solo, which caps them.
How to do it
- Open Settings → Billing to see your current plan, licensed seats and billing status at a glance.
- Compare what each tier includes on the same page before deciding whether to change.
- A feature outside your current plan states which plan it needs, in context, wherever you’d otherwise use it — for example a locked integration panel or a disabled SFTP section.
- See Changing seats and plan to move between tiers or adjust seat counts.
How it integrates
Every plan-gated server action checks your organisation’s plan at the moment it runs, not merely what a screen shows — so a feature genuinely stops working the instant a plan changes, in either direction. Some features are billing-tier gates layered on top of the ordinary role/permission model, not a replacement for it — API keys, for instance, still need Settings module-admin access on top of the Platform-plan requirement. PDF branding customisation is available from the Team plan upward; Solo keeps the platform default styling.
Common problems
- A section is greyed out or missing with a plan name next to it. That’s a factual plan gate, not a bug — the note names exactly which plan unlocks it.
- I upgraded but a feature still looks locked. Refresh the page — plan changes take effect from your organisation record the moment Stripe confirms them, but an already-open screen may be showing a stale snapshot.
- I’m not sure which plan we’re on. Open Settings → Billing — your current plan and licensed seats are shown at the top of the page.
