Your job list
Your home screen brings together everything assigned to you — jobs, your own past records, and an at-a-glance view of anything running against a statutory deadline.
What it is
Your jobs lists surveys and works orders assigned to you, each showing its due state and, where it carries one, the Awaab’s Law countdown. Above that, a compact statutory summary lists every one of your active jobs with a statutory deadline and its next outstanding stage, so an overdue case never gets lost simply because it’s fallen out of the main list’s recency window. Below your jobs, Recent records lists your own past surveys with search and a Draft/Sealed filter — sealed records are marked with a lock. A sync-status line under the header tells you honestly whether you’re looking at a live, up-to-date view or an offline copy still waiting to sync.
Unless your organisation has switched it off, a hero button lets you start an ad-hoc survey with no assigned job behind it — useful for a genuine walk-up finding. Where that’s disabled, you only ever work jobs pushed to you from the office.
How to do it
- Open the app to see Your jobs and Recent records on your home screen.
- Tap a job to open it. If the job carries a scope of survey or a required-rooms list, you’ll see it as a one-time briefing before you start.
- Use the search box and Draft/Sealed filter under Recent records to find a specific past survey by address or reference.
- From a job card, use Can’t gain access? to log a failed visit or appointment outcome, or Log a note for the office for anything operationally useful that isn’t survey evidence — see No access: recording attempts.
- Pull down to refresh — this also retries any photo uploads still waiting for a connection.
- Tap the Calendar button above Your jobs to get a subscribable feed URL for your assigned jobs and their deadlines.
How it integrates
The statutory summary reads from an uncapped, status-scoped feed specifically so a case that’s gone quiet for a while never silently drops out of it, unlike the main jobs list, which is capped for performance and pages in older jobs on demand. A job’s scope-of-survey and required-rooms briefing is the same content a manager set on the job in Raising a survey, shown once per job open, not repeated on every visit. Recent records only shows your own surveys — see Your job list in the operative’s case for the equivalent, works-only view if you don’t hold evidence-read access.
Common problems
- A job I was told about isn’t showing. Confirm you’re signed into the correct organisation profile, and that it’s actually been assigned to you rather than left unassigned or sent to a contractor.
- I can’t start a new survey from the home button. Self-report may be switched off for your organisation — open an assigned job instead, or ask an admin about Settings → Capture policy.
- The statutory summary is empty. It only lists active jobs that carry a statutory deadline — a job with none, or one where every stage is already met, is correctly excluded.
